Description
The concept is divided into 3 levels:
1- Skyscraper Shape - The main shape taken from the relationship between Father and son made out of slaps was inspired by the Wadi Degla rocks shapes , creating a relationship between design and nature;
2 -Urban Design - The project, a 470 meters high skyscraper, confirms Vesta neighborhood as one of growth lines of Cairo;
3 – Style – This concept presents itself as a mixture between Islamic and the modern architectures. The Islamic elements reflect the place’s identity and the modern architecture report to the time we are living in.
One of the modern aspects is the use of green roofs and other green areas, contributing to increase the air cooling and replenishing it with humidity and oxygen, and also providing pleasant views. Energy challenges increase with added height; therefore, the further from the ground is a construction, more “negative” energy it acquires, mainly ultra violet radiation of the Sun. To transform it into “positive” energy, this project uses it to lighting spaces with indirect light. All exposed exterior surfaces are covered with solar cells, providing clean energy.
